The Lesser Goldfinch, Our Local Mockingbird
A lesser goldfinch spins through multiple local bird songs before returning to a more familiar Finch sound. Toward the end of the video I finally get him in the camera sights but failed to notice!
I had no idea such a fine mimicker of bird songs lived in the desert Southwest!
