This video is a short presentation of how I used MetaSounds and Chaos Destruction in UE5 to build a projectile impact audio system.
The core of the video is about binding sounds to Chaos Destruction collision and break events, and modulating audio parameters with physics properties of each debris piece, using custom curves and granulation.
As a general goal, I tried to synthesize as many sounds as possible in MestaSound, using samples more like sweeteners.
The project was done as an assignment for the UE5 Audio course at School of Video Game Audio.
