Perception of time has really changed in the last 3 years. Often I wake up and realise yesterday was 2022, not 2021 nor 2020. It felt that the world stagnated for 2 years, and then all significant events burst out in the last few months (as we have seen from the Ukraine War, Sri Lanka Crisis and severe lockdown occurring in Shanghai. Just to name a few). The memories of the past blend in so well with the current life, due to how similar and restrictive these past 3 years have become.
This arrangement dedicates to the childhood memories fading more and more away from me. The original song was a very low-key Chinese animation "神奇啊呦" and has not been released worldwide. However, as I've been listening to these old songs, I find this particular track amazing and nostalgic. Hence, I've made it into an orchestral arrangement in conjugation with children's choir, to evoke that sense of nostalgia to the best I can :D
