“I’ve been listening to Kali Uchis’ TO FEEL ALIVE EP all of quarantine and knew ‘Angel’ would be the perfect song for our Dreaming project, but wasn’t exactly sure how I wanted to execute it. Kali Uchis sings about otherworldly feelings and beings on the track, and by combining quick cuts to the sky, smooth movements, and a change in perspective mid-way through the piece, I tried to recreate a representation of what one’s imagination may be when they think of the word ‘Angel’.
