INGREDIENTS
All purpose flour- one cup
Brown sugar - 1 cup
Butter - 2/3 cup
Baking soda 1/2 tsp
Baking powder 1/4 tsp
Vinegar 1/2 tsp
Vanilla essence 1/2 tsp
Soaked dry fruits
Salt 1/4 tsp
Milk 1/2 cup
Spice mix powder
Instant coffee powder 1tsp
STEPS
1. Sieve the flour along with the baking soda and powder.
2. Then grease the pan and ready it with outer aluminum strip to prevent the cake from cracking.
3. Preheat the oven.
4. Measure the butter and sugar and start whisking by hand. When the butter is light and fluffy, add the essence, vinegar, nuts that have been dusted with the flour, milk and mix.
5. Mix in coffee powder dissolved in milk. Slowly, add flour and salt and fold. 6. Pour into the pan and bake. It took me around 45 minutes to bake. You can check after thirty minutes to see if it's done.
