Synopsis - Richard spots a man dumping a body, and decides to expose the man he thinks is the culprit with his friend Alex Cutter.
For me personally, Cutter’s Way is a bonafide masterpiece, and one of the greatest of the 1980’s (although it’s really a 70’s character study released a couple years late).
Jeff Bridges is in fine form as always here but it’s really John Heard’s show - his performance is revelatory and in a better world he would have had the career he deserved.
If you’re in the mood for a laconic Neo-noir with shades of the death of the American Dream, look no further than Cutter’s Way! -- DM
