I fight the Grotesque Guardians in Old School RuneScape. This Gargoyle boss guide is a fight guide for the Grotesque Guardians in 4K.
You need to be level 75 slayer to unlock the Gargoyles as a task from the Slayer Task Master. Gargoyles have a 1/150 chance to drop a Brittle Key. The Slayer Task Master assigns about 160 Gargoyles each time. You only need to use the Brittle Key once in order to unlock the 3rd floor of the Slayer Tower to fight the Grotesque Guardians in OSRS. You can fight them infinite amounts of times. You can destroy the gargoyles with the Rock Thrownhammer once their health has been decreased to zero. Rock Thrownhammer can be purchased with gold from the Slayer Task Master.
You need approximately strength level 90-95, Ranged level 78-81, Prayer level 70, and Attack level 80+ in order to beat the Grotesque Guardians. I recommend the Agility level of 65+ for this fight.
The item requirements for this boss battle include a divine super combat potion, 2 Prayer Potions, a Stamina Potion or 2, 2 Rock Thrownhammers, Manta Rays, a Nose Peg so that the Aberrant spectres don't decrease your stats when you run by them, and a Divine Ranging Potion.
You can use a Mort'ton teleport after completing the Priest in Peril Quest to get to the Slayer Tower faster.
