Online Speech Recognition - Voice to text tool with Audio recorder

Hey everyone, in this video I am going to show you how to use Google speech recognition using simple customized tool available on my website. You can also record the audio. Go to the link given in the About section of this video. This app has two features. You can record and transcribe what you are talking. After completing the transcription, edit the transcript using the audio and then use the transcript. Start and Stop button will start and stop the recording of the audio. Download button will download the recorded audio. In the speech recognition box, this drop-down is used to select your accent. You can also select the language, but I have not tried other languages. You can also download the transcript. This is the microphone icon, which will start and stop speech recognition. Copy text will copy the transcript. One more feature is that you can also browse something else on a different page while doing the speech recognition. First I will start the audio recorder and then I will start speech recognition by clicking on the microphone icon. Once the recognition is completed, I will stop the microphone as well as the audio recording. You will see speak now here when the transcription is going on. If the speak now is not there, it means transcription has been stopped. The red dot also indicates speech recognition is going on. After you click stop in the recording, you can see the player is highlighted. You can listen to your audio here itself or download it. Click here to download the transcript as notepad. I usually copy by highlighting the text and click copy. You can also use copy text. Don't try to edit the transcript in this box itself. Copy the transcript and click transcribe the audio. This will take you to online transcriber on my website. Paste the transcript in this text box. Click choose file and open the recorded audio from your Downloads folder. You can see the shortcut keys for this app by mouseover on Hotkeys. The main key you will need is Escape key which will play and pause your audio. Control + space will also play and pause your audio. I will play the audio by pressing Escape key. After editing, copy and paste it wherever you want. Click save to download the edited text as notepad. Another useful feature is if you get disconnected for one reason or the other, just go to the webpage once again and you will see your text. It would not be deleted and would be saved in the browser. I have refreshed the page. The text is still there. If you want to delete the text, click reset.
