Week 9: (Feb 26-Mar 4)

Notes: I had a basic flashlight working in 30 minutes including the on/off functionality and material swap on the lamp. That being said, I spent a long time tweaking the light to see how to best get it to not bounce all over the place and not shine in the player's face; this was a learning experience, and I realized quickly that third person flashlights (or FP multiplayer) are harder than first person flashlights. I also swapped out the basic light for a light function material. Then, I decided to make a fast little cave space to see the flashlight work in action and to practice blocking out spaces fast. I used the scene to also explore some asset packs I had in my arsenal.

Micro Passion Projects are intended to be short projects that can be completed in as little as 30 minutes or up to 4 hours. The goal is to try things, learn things, showcase things, have references to look at later, and have fun.
