Making a Dragon Egg Mold with Oak Gall and Epoxy Resin

In this video, I show you how to create a unique dragon egg using oak gall and epoxy resin. I walk you through the process of assembling a rough mold and attaching an oak gall split in half to each side of the mold. I then mix up some epoxy resin with blue mica powder to add some color and pour it into the mold. Unfortunately, I made a mistake and poured too much resin at once, causing it to heat up and bubble, which led to a large crack in the egg. I also didn't use mold release, so I had to tear the mold off using a hammer and screwdriver.
Despite these setbacks, I didn't give up and mixed up a small batch of epoxy to fill the crack. I eventually tore the mold off to reveal the dragon egg, which had a unique and interesting look thanks to the oak gall and blue mica powder. This is a fun and creative project that anyone can do, and it's a great way to experiment with different materials and techniques.
