Reporting from Historical Data - Part 5 Discrete Data, On-Demand Report
This segment uses a custom report template to demonstrate generating historical reports based on discrete events in the process. In segment one, a calendar control was used that allowed the user to select the start and end of the report. This segment uses a concept called Event Frames, or records stored in a database which represent key information about an event. For example, the event frame could include the start time, the end time, the process recipe, the machine operator, etc. The database records are displayed as a list to the user, who then selects the event frame itself to generate the report.
