Taylor-Green vortex sheet at Re=2000, pFEM
Simulation of the Taylor-Green vortex sheet at Re=2000. Seems to become unstable at about t=15, but the final stages seem to indicate vortex hopping. It unlikely it will do anything else, since the system is quite damped there (velocity reduced to about 28% of its initial value).
pFEM - like method, Co=0.13, 160 x 160 nodes, Dx = 0.0125, times from 0 to 32.5. Left: pressure. Right: vorticity (to be more precise: a field that's given the vorticity initial value, and is then evolved).
