Cat And Mouse [from 'Flicks' - 1983]
Here's what's probably the best part of the long-forgotten movie 'Flicks' from 1983. Flicks was a skit-based parody movie, cut from the same cloth as such films as Kentucky Fried Movie and Amazon Women On The Moon. However, it wasn't quite as successful as those two, and at times seemed more homage than parody. The 'Cat And Mouse' segment was a clear tribute to Tom And Jerry, with the titular cat and mouse now in an old-age home (as if cartoons could ever age). As the film itself was only ever released on VHS back in the day (no DVD, blu-ray or streaming for this one as of yet), it seems to be in danger of being forgotten about entirely, which is why I've uploaded this clip. Enjoy!
