Join European Day Of Languages 2024
European Day of Languages is an official day that is celebrated on the 26th of September every year. It's a celebration to appreciate diversity in cultures and languages all over the world, and recently I feel that such a day is more needed than ever. Since 2016, actually because of a teacher I had who is incredibly passionate about languages and culture, I have wanted to celebrate this day together with my friends. It originally started out as an IC, but over the years just turned into an event that we edited for to be able to include more people
What do you do for EDL? In short, you edit ahahaha. You edit a video (or multiple) of any length with a song of your choice. The language of the song should be one that you're closely connected to in one way or another, the great majority choose; their mother tongue, native language, second language, etc. Anyone is completely free to join this event, we're just having fun and here to appreciate the diversity of languages, cultures and the editing community ♥ If you do wish to join, make sure to join the discord server to stay updated and to be able to share your video with us, and watch everyone else's!
