Rescued! Arthur at the Berkeley Shelter
Arthur is a sweet and affectionate headbutter. He is 1 year old and still working on his confidence, but he will be a great cat for a loving and patient home. He is still quite shy but responds to attention with hand and head rubbing accompanied by soft purrs. He loves attention and will arch his back for petting and nuzzle your hand. He answers with a meow when you talk to him, and comes when you call him. He's playful, and gets along with other friendly cats. Arthur prefers to get affection in the cage, or on the floor, but is getting more comfortable being held and sitting on laps. He'd do best in a household with patient adults and no small children. He is a very attractive and appealing cat.
