I've never seen so many birds in one place!!!
It's that time of year again when the annual starling murmurations take place at various sites across the UK. Luckily for me, one of those sites is on my doorstep!
Hundreds of thousands of starlings gather each night during the winter to roost in the reed beds of the Avalon Marshes near Glastonbury, darkening the skies as huge swirling clouds of them arrive. And predators, such as marsh harriers, are waiting for them!
