ok, but both are wrong, tho both can be understood. ikuya is too stubborn and refuses to let go of the past or at least look at his teen infatuation with haru from the other side (sorry man, but you’re 19 now, no? and you’ve indeed grown up pretty independent in swimming? so maybe try to look at your former team as just people, your friends, and not unreachable ideals?) hiyori is plain selfish. still, the first one doesn’t know what to do with his depression anymore, and the other one is terrified of being alone again. it’s so simple, but also so complicated???
