MEGADETH - ANGRY AGAIN guitar cover
I znowu na tapecie Rudy. Ciśniemy to Megadeth ostatnio na próbach, żeby podnieść sobie techniczną poprzeczkę, więc i materiał na kanał niejako "sam" się produkuje.
Sam byłem zaskoczony, że ten numer - jak i film, z którego soundtracku pochodzi (Last Action Hero z Arnoldem) - ma już 31 lat, ale ta muza jakoś się nie starzeje. Jak zwykle u Mustaine'a porąbana struktura (trzeba się pilnować), ale technicznie poziom co najwyżej średniozaawansowany. Oczywiście poza solem Friedmana, które jest jedną z wielu perełek, które skomponował w czasie swojej niepełnej dekady w Megadeth. Nie ukrywam chwilę mi zeszło, żeby je rozgryźć, a i tak w kilku miejscach poszedłem na skróty. Tym razem na szczęście skończyło się bez odcisku na palcu od podciągania strun.
P.S. Na warsztacie mamy też Addicted to Chaos z Youthanasii, więc pewnie wkrótce też będzie.
Dave is in the spotlight again. Lately, we've been jamming out that Megadeth tune at rehearsals to raise our technical bar, so content for the channel kind of "produces itself." I was surprised that this track - along with the movie it's from (Last Action Hero with Arnold) - is already 31 years old, but the music somehow doesn't age. As usual with Mustaine, the structure is crazy (gotta watch out), but technically it's at best intermediate level. Of course, except for Friedman's solos, which are one of the many gems he composed during his less than a decade in Megadeth. I must admit it took me a while to grasp it, and even then, I took some shortcuts in a few places. Fortunately, this time it ended without a finger imprint from string bending.
