Mahbubey Alam (February 1, 1949 – September 27, 2020) was a designated senior counsel, and former Attorney General of Bangladesh. He was appointed Attorney General of Bangladesh with effect from 13 January 2009.[2] He was a senior advocate at the Supreme Court of Bangladesh. He had served earlier as additional attorney general from 15 November 1998 to 4 October 2001. He was affected by corona for quite a few days and was admited in CMH.He died on 27 September,2020 in the hospital.
