Episode 1 is about the fact that when susan and started our relationship in real life we really didn't speak for the first 4 months of our relationship. Scenes from our real lives that are depiticted narratively in our film our shown as we describe the core problems we were having as people before the two of us met. These are the same problems our characters of ourselves have in Four Eyed Monsters. And then the episode skips passed all of the drama of actually starting our relationship which of course is in the film and then begins to talk about what it was like making our film. How we got friends involved, went to an acting studio and how getting into a film festival changed the trajectory of our relationship, our film, our careers, our friendships and even certain family member connections.
