Kites by Drake
A distinguished member of Sala Kite & Tango Party, though living in the diaspora, is Stefan Karlström. He goes by the nickname ’Drake’ [pronounced Dra:h-keh] which is the Swedish word for kite.
In the '90s he made some exquisite kites of unique design using pine strips as well as thin hobby plywood and crumpled roasting bags.
He was an early hoarder of toilet rolls for the tails.
