Quantum Mechanics - Field Quantization : Classical Field Equation : Hamiltonian Formulation
For quantization of classical field theory we must go over to Hamiltonian formulation, which is usually developed for systems having countable number of degree of freedom. We here are dealing with uncountable or infinite number of degrees of freedom, corresponding to the values of the field. Hamiltonian field equations have been obtained in terms of classical Hamiltonian of the field.
