Webinar: Building Special Projects on Wikipedia
This webinar describes how editors - and researchers - can mobilize to create content around special themes on Wikipedia.
The webinar focuses on the Wikimedia community’s response to the COVID pandemic in particular, exploring strategies for research communication and content moderation in the current polarized environment.
Specifically, we look at the micro-site on COVID and talk through the impact and considerations - including risks - of setting up such initiatives. Representatives of the Wikimedia community also offer advice on planning for the life cycle of such initiatives.
