Daraku Tenshi Lapis Sprites have been found!
Thanks to a MAME update and a new bit of hacking you can view a few of Lapis's action sprites from before she was cut from the game .
Lapis who is widely considered to be KOF's inspiration for Whip was to be a young treasure hunter, and the daughter of a famous archaeologist. She holds the key to unlocking an ancient tablet's great power which has made her a target of Carlos. Hajime Ito said on his blog that Lapis would have fought at range using the whip on her side had she not been cut.
