Decommissioning & Transport Of Commercial Ovens
In this short video, me and my colleague Nigel, a full-time bakery engineer, dismantle, palletise and transport a pair of Mono Equipment commercial rack ovens to a new bakery in Essex.
In this video we use our new Pramac pallet stacker to 'catch' the ovens and lower them safely to the ground where they can be moved with a pair of pallet trucks quite easily. The ovens are ratchet strapped to custom made pallets which we made offsite for this job.
The ovens weigh around 500kg each in this state - we have removed the fan motors, extraction hoods and the internal bars which are part of the steam generator.
The ovens will be commissioned shortly once services/utilities are in place.
