Kayak Trolling Motor Battery Stress Test - Goldenmate Orion 1000
LifePO4 lithium batteries like the Goldenmate Orion 1000 are no longer expensive compared to traditional Deep-Cycle Marine batteries. But are they any good? I did a kayak trolling motor stress test on the Orion 1000 battery by pulling 19 volts through a DC-DC converter for over two hours of heavy demand from my PacMotor electric trolling motor.
