This video is a clip taken from Erik Dalton's MAT E-Course "Essential MAT Assessments." In it he demonstrates foot and ankle joint play assessment in the prone position, subtalar inversion and eversion, and figure eight technique.
Using web of our hands, distal to the medial and lateral malleoli, elbows out, raise the knee off the table and rotate your body side to side. Check for range of motion there. Dorsal flexion, plantar flexion - working all of the same joints. Tibial joint, subtalar joint. Grasping the tibia to see how much dorsiflexion there is and assessing range of motion prone versus supine here.

Assessing Subtalar Inversion & Eversion - the body's steering wheel. Supination and pronation assessment is done by watching if there is more pronation over supination and more eversion than inversion - that's what you want in the body for the foot and ankle joint play and mobility.
