The House of The Dead EX: Loving Deads (Teknoparrot- Sega Lindbergh)
Wooohoo, it's spooky season 🎃👻💀and what could be more spooky than a game of House of the Dead?
Except... this ain't no spooky regular HOTD game, it's a Japan only cutesy spin off from the main series - The House of the Dead EX (愛されるより愛シタイ ～THE HOUSE OF THE DEAD EX～), that plays more like Sega's answer to Namco's Point Blank ( • Point Blank X (Arcade Version Played on PC... ), consisting as it does of lots of minigames with boss battles in between. The minigames are played with a light gun in addition to foot pedals on the arcade cabinet. This is literally my first ever time playing it (using Teknoparrot arcade loader). I probably should've watched the attract mode first that explains about linking up hands, I couldn't understand why I failed a few of the mini games. My controls started misbehaving during the first attempt on the nailing up the door mini game, and my cursor wouldn't go into the bottom right of the screen.
EX runs on the Sega Lindbergh, the same arcade board which runs The House of the Dead 4 (indeed, in this playthrough I encountered the first level boss from that game). The game was never released outside of Japan; however, the English language version on the BIOS of the ROM can be selected, in addition to the original Japanese language.
Zobiko and Zobio did feature in a Western game though, being as they were playable characters in Sonic and Sega All Star Racing:

Also, the voice lady in this who explains about how to play the games sounds like the same VO actress from OutRun 2, who explains what to do in the heart attack modes.
