I think the DJI Avata is an awesome drone for exploring the forest! The prop guards allow the drone to pass by branches and trees no problem. Plus you can switch in and out of manual mode, adjust the camera angle, and brake! Please let me know what you think in the comments!

The Avata is a SUPER fun drone and a great drone for learning FPV (especially if you are coming from a DJI drone) The ability to be able to brake and switch in and out of Manual mode mid-flight is invaluable.
I'm a professional videographer and engineer working in broadcast, pro sports, and film. Experienced with drones but new to FPV. Learning with the DJI Avata and posting tips along the way.
I highly recommend getting confident in the SIM before you go out and fly for the first time.
