Verification - Chainsaw (Extreme Demon)
The NLW spreadsheet discord held their own GD Civilization event, similar to that of MatMart's (the one that birthed The Art of the Blade). This followed the same similar structure, in the sense that several teams built a level and then had one week to verify, with the goal being to make a level that is extremely difficult to learn and beat.
If it wasn't obvious, the gameplay is heavily inspired Switchblade by Twoots, and I tried my best to reflect the balancing of Switchblade here. In my opinion this level is actually pretty fun but I did leave in the funny blind jumps at 58 and 65 since they are iconic to Switchblade, and they are (as you would expect) pretty annoying to die to. I died to the jump at 65% 24 times for example, and I'm fairly sure its a 60fps frame perfect. I hope this can get rated, but I would be a little surprised if it did. This is the first rate worthy level going onto my account (and probably the last since I suck at creating). Good luck to anybody who tries to beat this lmfao
As for difficulty, I have no idea. The original layout was ridiculously unbalanced and I thought it could probably be mainlist, but over the 6 days I spent verifying, I gradually nerfed it over time. If I had to take a guess though, it might be harder than Surge of the Shield and CHROMA II at the very least.
