Life in Turkey during the full lockdown due to COVID-19. Turkey emptied its streets, using fear.
Today, my good Turkish friend was wandering on the streets of Eskişehir. This is a gorgeous township near (300km) Istanbul in Turkey.
Because of the Pandemic, Turkey also put many restrictions in practice and due to the low level of health system efficiency the virus made the country kneel quickly. That forced the government to apply temporary lockdown throughout the whole state.
Eventually, people were not allowed to leave their town and that lead to empty streets, markets, roads between cities and so on.
Unfortunately, the SARS-2 hit the country badly and the numbers are going higher and higher, leaving Turkey in a bad position where panic buying and fear taking over the citizens` spirit.
This is episode is part of my compilation where I reach out to my friends from all over the world to help me to create videos where I show how people live in their hometown and what is the real situation which is not mentioned on the internet.
At this stage it seems that Turkey, like all other countries, is also poisoned by politics and Erdogan is abusing people`s fear to seize power and uses this circumstance to build his presence further up everywhere. #turkey #Eskişehir #pandmeic
