Path to Net Zero Summit - Full Recording
CERRE organised the Path to the Net Zero Summit on 15 October at the Brussels Info Place (BIP), featuring keynote speaker Prime Minister Alexander De Croo, high-level panellists, and CERRE academics. The event presented these three key reports on Europe’s net zero transition, renewable energy permitting, and future gas markets and system flexibility.
In addition to the reports and discussions, the Summit marked the launch of the CERRE Forum on the Clean Industrial Deal. As Europe navigates concerns of overregulation, the forum aims to address industrial decarbonisation through productive regulation that supports long-term certainty and clean tech market development. The forum will tackle key industrial decarbonisation topics such as building CCS markets, hydrogen offtake and trade, cost allocation, and investments in interconnectors, creating a regulatory framework that supports productivity growth and competitiveness in the transition to net zero.
