Handmade steel sickle to mow cereals in the field. Manufacturing in a forge
The sickle has been the main tool with which the reapers moved in the summer, from town to town, to collect grain. In 1999, in the town of La Solana (Ciudad Real), Eduardo Martín-Albo's sickle workshop was still active. With him I was able to learn how these agricultural tools are made.
