The story behind this video is simple. The title of the tack is echo chambers, I took footage from a 1980s giant mecha anime and made the scenes collapse back upon themselves to create an visual echo effect. The effect is what I imagine people with dyslexia experience.
The deeper message could be something about echo chambers. The incredible aspect of echo chambers and our modern day capacities for knowledge and information access is that people choose to limit themselves to what information they consume. Hence the echo chamber. It is so easy to precisely curate what sources present you with information that any and all dissenting opinions can be completely ignored. It is a state of willful ignorance.
