Ingredients for the chicken:
1-1.5 lbs thin sliced or butterflied chicken breast; halved
Cumin
Paprika
Celery seed
Garlic powder
 Onion powder
Salt
Pepper
Buttermilk enough to soak the chicken
Pickle juice enough to soak the chicken
For breading:
Flour for breading
Corn starch
Pepper
Paprika
Onion powder
Salt
For the Nashville Hot Buffalo Sauce:
1 bottle Nashville Hot ‘Red Hot’ sauce
Butter
Brown sugar optional
Directions:
Combine the seasonings for the chicken in a small bowl and give it a good mix. Lay out the prepped, thin sliced boneless chicken breasts on parchment paper or foil, for easy clean up, or on a plate. Generously season both sides of the chicken
Add these seasoned chickens to a bowl or a food storage bag. Add in the buttermilk and pickle juice. Shake it up…shake it up…shake it! Set aside to marinate and do its thang, least an hour. If marinating longer, put in the fridge and pull out 30 mins before cooking
Add avocado oil to a pan and let it heat. Add the breading ingredients to an another bag, of your choice, grocery bags work too! Pop the chicken and toss to help coat them.
Once the oil is hot. Gently, unless you want to be popped, place/lay your floured chicken breasts in the hot oil. Cook on each side until golden brown. Once cooked, place on a wired rack to keep its crispness
While the chicken is frying, prepare the sauce. Add some butter to a hot pan and let it melt. Add in the bottled sauce and sprinkle in the brown sugar. Stir to combine and then let it come to a boil, then to a simmer
Once sauce and chicken is cooked, dip the chicken in the sauce, generously. Serve immediately on dressed up buns, to enjoy the real deliciousness!
