I love continuing education, and I do these hair trips for my clients, so I can bring back the latest On-trend coloring, and extension techniques for you.
This time I flew to Habit Salon - the Gilbert Arizona location. It was a banner day & Allison Hallows was my mentor. She didn't let me slack, and I loved every minute of my 7Hr day.
There were so many things I learned - my brain was like a pac-man gobbling everything up - and these were the (3) most important 'take-aways' :
1/ Habit's favorite extension colors for brunettes: Mocha, brownie batter, caramel brownie, cinnamon roll.
2/ Magic formula for gradient color (this allows me to color your natural hair to match your extensions for a seamless blend. You can't tell that you are wearing extensions. Only that your hair looks flippin' amazing).
3/ How to do Hybrid & Hidden sew methods. These are great for the client who wears their hair up, you can't see the beads + stitching at all. Just looks like your real hair.
One thing, I also love coming to these shadow days because I get to see all the tools, equipment, and fun new products Habit uses.
