FIXING the MoT Advisories - 2009 Mercedes-Benz W204 C200 Part 32
The C200 passed the MoT with 3 advisories. The advisories were:
Anti-roll bar linkage ball joint has slight play Nearside Front (Drop Link)
Tyre worn close to legal limit/worn on edge Nearside Rear (Wearing on Inner Edge)
Nearside parking brake low reading.
In this video I was able to tackle 2 of them. I fitted new front anti roll bar drop links (£13 each from Champion Motor Spares in Bradford) and the left rear parking brake shoes needed to be adjusted further. I'll be replacing the left rear tyre and get a 4 wheel alignment done. I had noticed a rattle which had disappeared after the drop links had been replaced and the parking brake is now improved after the left shoes had been adjusted.
