Hope you're all doing ok and you enjoy this video about Edinburgh Castle. If you'd like a personal tour of Edinburgh with me, you can book on my website - https://www.davidwheater.com . This amazing Scottish castle dominates the city skyline and is a must-see if you're visiting Edinburgh. A former Royal residence and still a working military base, it's a fascinating place to visit with fantastic views of the city. Don't forget to see Scotland's impressive Crown Jewels, beautiful St Margaret's Chapel built in 1130 and the magnificent Great Hall built by James IV. If you hear a gun going off - don't worry, it's just the One o'Clock Gun which is fired every day, except Sundays. The firing of the gun used to be for sailors in the Port of Leith to set their Chronometers by. Edinburgh Castle can get very busy, so I recommend booking your tickets as early as you can.

If you'd like to visit a completely different castle in Edinburgh, I can really recommend Craigmillar Castle, which was used a location for filming the popular TV Series 'Outlander'. Here's a link to the video I made about Craigmillar Castle. Hope you enjoy it -    • Exploring Craigmillar Castle, Edinburgh, S...
