The Attorney General's Office requested the removal of Acre Governor Gladson Cameli, of the PP party, this Thursday, following a complaint filed with the Superior Court of Justice. In addition to Cameli, twelve other people were charged with organized crime, active and passive corruption, embezzlement, money laundering, and bid rigging. The investigation against Cameli, the alleged "rachadinha" scheme involving Congressman André Janones, and a Brazilian held hostage by Hamas are featured on Giro VEJA.
