http://consolidatedriggingandlifting.... - In this video, Bobby Raulerson of Consolidated Rigging shares the process of making their 9-part braided rope, which are complete with nylon slings and the lifting-power to safely move cranes.

Here is everything that is covered in this video:

Today we are going to share with you the process of making our huge, 9-part, braided slings. Today is the coldest day of the year, but we had no problem getting our guys here because were paying them overtime because we promised our customer that we would have these by Tuesday. Right now, they're making a 3-part braided sling, and they're going to make three of them. Then, they're going to weave them together, and we'll show you the finished product when they're complete.

Our customer, an Ohio contractor, was picking up a huge crane with a set of nylon slings, and the slings broke in two, causing him to drop the crane. Our salesman, John, went down and saw him, and we made some braided slings for him to finish the job. Now he's got another bigger project in Michigan, so he called us because we did such a good job and got him out of a jam when we told him we would. That's our whole philosophy— treat the customer right, treat him with respect, and give him a good product at a fair price, and I don't think anybody could ask for more.

Our guys work hard, and they have a tough job, but they deliver high quality in a timely manner. Looks like they've got the product finished now, and it looks really good. They're going to end up wrapping the eyes with some nylon, and then they'll dip it and coat it with urethane. The customer's going to be extremely happy when we ship it on Tuesday, so they will have them to get their job setup and completed, with no chance of any failure. That's what we do here at Consolidated Rigging.
