How To Make A Filigree Wrap Bracelet

This is one of our most popular designs. We’ll show you how to create a loop for the clasp with a simple overhand knot. Then we’ll show you how to create a pattern with the filigree and mixed metal beads, adding knots along the way to hold the small beads in place.
How To Make The Filigree Wrap Bracelet
MATERIALS
2 Coral sueded 3mm cords, 35" and 70" long
7 Large silver tone filigree beads, 11mmx9.5mm with 5mm hole
4 Gold tone beads, 8mmx5mm with 4.5mm hole
3 Silver tone gold tone beads, 8mmx5mm with 4.5mm hole
1 Silver tone S-hook clasp, 22mm
TOOLS
Chain-nose pliers
Scissors

STEPS
1. To get started, fold the longer cord in half. Then line up the folded end with the end of the shorter cord.
2. To make a loop for the clasp, take all three cords in your hand and tie a simple, overhand knot approximately ¾” from the folded end.
3. Feed 2 of the cords through a large filigree bead.
4. Once you slide the filigree bead onto 2 cords, you will have one leftover. Take that single cord, and tie a simple knot about 2" from the loop end. Then slide on a small gold bead and slide it up next to that knot. Tie a knot on other side of the small bead.
5. Take 1 cord from the large filigree bead and pair it with the single cord from the small bead. Feed those 2 cords through a large filigree bead.
6. Add a knot, a small silver bead this time, and a knot to the single leftover cord about 2" from the last knot. Continue this pattern with the cords, beads, and knots until all the beads are used.
7. Slide the S-hook clasp onto the longest cord and fold that cord back on itself.
8. Take all 4 strands in your hand and tie a simple overhand knot.
9. Trim the ends by the clasp and loop to about ½". To wear the bracelet, wrap it around your wrist and connect the S-hook clasp to the loop.
