Karaikkal Ammaiyar Story
Part of Shiva Leela's, today explained briefly about one of the 63 Nayanmars. (one of the 3 female deities of Lord Shiva) She is from 6th Century AD. and great poet and worshipper of Lord Shiva. She is known as Karaikkal Ammaiyar means mother belongs to Karaikkal town. She got Kaivalyam by praising Lord Shiva with her keerthanaas. (paathigams)
