Oscar Boz was a pioneer in home filmmaking and captured some of the earliest footage of south Brazil in the 1950s. From birthday parties and school performances to bike rides and street games, nothing escaped the lens of his camera — one he purchased after a store clerk convinced him that it was "cheaper to make films than photographs".
Over the years, Boz built a valuable and deeply nostalgic archive, including historical events that took place in the region. In this documentary, he goes over his own materials and watch as they get digitally processed, reflecting on memory and engaging in a dialogue between the past and the future.
