Restoring Dad’s Super Tool Part 3: Rust Removal and Handle Disassembly
Part 3 of my restoration of my dad’s Super Tool from 1996. The rust removal soak worked SO well I’m very very happy with the results. I was so foolish to try and drill that one screw out but either way, I would be getting new fasteners no matter what. There’s too much rust in there. I also ordered the replacement plier head so hopefully around mid-June this project will be completed. I’m going to try and track down a sheath that I like as well in the meantime. If anyone has a small flathead driver piece please, let me know.
