Since the majority of my production and session work is done remotely, I like making these little “producer notes” type of videos to keep myself and my clients on the same page, trade ideas, and ultimately avoid any potential confusion when it comes to the written word. Here, I'm currently at working with a musician by the name of Branden Jacko (follow him on instagram @brandenjacko) on his song "Old Black" for an upcoming release from his metal band "Thorn".
Right now, I’m working to help refine the song structure a bit so the song maintains a good flow without losing any momentum. A lot of time that means trimming song sections down a bit to help the vocals live in certain spots better.
