A lot of times when I’m writing heavy music, I’ll find myself with a rhythmic pattern churned up from the lyrics that immediately fit with a go-to drum idea. I’ve found myself with a lot of “Drum and Vocal” ideas that never got finished so I’m revisiting a more recent idea here.
I’m thinking that the riffs to write should be based in the key of Bb. What do you think?
