The Lying Peacock {Speedpaint}
Best in HD! Another Peafowl piece. This time I thought I’d colour in this sketch I did a while back and experiment with brushes while I was at it. Not going to lie, and you may be able to tell, I did a lot of improvisation. But I think its turned out well enough. It was fun to experiment with the different brush strokes and just get lost in the process. I had some free time to do it while I’m currently busy with so much right now.
I drew this sketch based on a photograph of a peacock lying down. I think this is the closet Ive ever come to the basic line-art of a reference image without going straight into my more animated style. The picture was attached to an article about how someone had been shooting peacock and this one was found inured. Ill show links to them below. Don't worry, theres nothing graphic shown.
