Growing up, I spent so much time wishing I was different - taller, more athletic, my smile not so wide... my voice not so high... my personality more forceful... for so long I felt something was wrong with me because I wasn’t more “manly”.
Today I am 48, and I’m letting (body) shame go... and embracing all of me. I am enough... just as I am... I'm embracing all of me. This is a song about accepting yourself.
