Our garden in May!
I want to show you the magical transformation and possibility of a place that started out very barren and uninspiring. We bought our place in the Skagit Valley three years ago, and it literally was a blank slate that was utterly boring. We created this beautiful paradise in a short amount of time, and I'd like to show you what it looks like in late May.
A lot of people see my gardens and want something like this, and I do design and create these for other people in my landscaping business. But one thing to keep in mind: it does take work, patience and commitment. You need to weed, water and mulch, and probably bring in compost to improve your soil. These gardens are NOT maintenance free, so you need to enjoy being outside working and being with these beautiful flowers and plants or hire someone to help you.
