Climbing Tools: Abalakov Ice Anchor
Invented by a russian with limited resources is my guess. This anchor became popular in the late 80's early 90's. It has now become the standard for rap anchors off frozen waterfalls.
Before this we used to drive in electrical conduit. This was a scary practice and led to the death of a few good climbers.
I made this before but had cheezy music and had to get rid of it cause I couldn't revenue share. Google sent me a hundred bucks! I need it cause I sent Aven to a private school so am still constantly broke. However real live sponsors are approaching me so maybe I can start eating a little more regular.
